Press + Gift Guide Resources

Thank you for your interest in Loblola.

We create nature-inspired enrichment toys for dogs, designed around the curiosity, instincts, and ways of exploring that dogs naturally bring to the world.

Founded by Jenna Bruxvoort, a female veteran, Loblola began with a simple moment: watching her dog Lola discover a pinecone on a camping trip and carry it around for hours. That moment became the beginning of a larger idea — that dogs already know how to explore. Our role is to create opportunities for them to do what comes naturally.

Below you’ll find brand information, product details, and downloadable assets for articles, gift guides, and features.

01 — Brand Story

Dogs have lived alongside humans for thousands of years, but they still carry the instincts of the animals they evolved from.

Long before modern dog toys existed, dogs explored a world full of interesting things: branches, pinecones, seeds, shells, bones, grasses, and other natural objects. They investigated unfamiliar textures, carried things that caught their attention, worked at objects with their mouths and paws, and followed curiosity wherever it led.

That connection to the natural world is what Loblola is all about.

We look to nature not because dogs need to return to the wild, but because nature already understands something fundamental about canine exploration. The natural world is full of irregular shapes, varied textures, unpredictable movement, and endless opportunities that dogs are naturally drawn to investigate.

Our toys are designed around those same qualities.

A Loblola toy is not meant to tell a dog exactly what to do. It is designed to invite exploration — through sniffing, mouthing, carrying, chewing, chasing, and problem-solving. Whether a dog discovers the toy on their own or a person uses food and treats to encourage exploration, the dog brings their own curiosity to the experience and decides how to engage with it.

Dogs have always known how to explore. We’re simply creating more opportunities for them to do what comes naturally.

02 — Founder Story

Jenna Bruxvoort founded Loblola after watching her dog Lola discover a pinecone on an October camping trip in 2017. Lola picked it up and carried it around, completely fascinated by something she had found in the natural world around her.

That simple observation became the foundation for Loblola’s approach: creating products that respect dogs as curious, capable individuals with their own preferences and instincts. From that first pinecone, Loblola grew into a line of nature-inspired enrichment toys designed to give dogs more opportunities for exploration in their everyday lives.

Before founding Loblola, Jenna served in the U.S. Army. Today, she designs products that combine her love of dogs, nature, and thoughtful design.
